The Verdina bean is a flat, medium-sized, light green bean with a very thin skin. Its flavour is exquisite and its skin is unnoticeable after cooking. It is ideal for seafood and fish dishes. It is produced mainly in Asturias and Galicia, on a fairly small scale.
